Jon Andrus is the Austin City Partner for Vista’s Austin Office, where he manages all phases of shopping center development and new center acquisition. Prior to joining Vista, Jon was the City Partner of Dallas-based development company, Direct Development. At Direct, Mr. Andrus was directly responsible for the development of two regional retail power centers totaling more than 1.4 million square feet. From 2001 to 2005, Mr. Andrus held the position of Senior Vice President of retail development for the Trammell Crow Company’s Austin division. During his tenure, Mr. Andrus assumed responsibility for all phases of shopping center development and was directly responsible in the development success of two HEB grocery anchored developments; Escarpment Village and Plaza Volente. Mr. Andrus has more than 18 years of experience in the real estate industry and has developed more than 2.5 million square feet of retail and mixed use product during his career.

Jon graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 1987.
