Jesus Araiza is a Vice President in the commercal leasing department at Vista Property Company. Upon graduation from Duke University in 2004 with a double major in Economics and Public Policy, Mr. Araiza began his real estate career with Coldwell Banker Commercial in Dallas, concentrating on retail opportunities within the Hispanic market. Continuing his focus on this niche, Mr. Araiza then joined Grupo Zocalo in the redevelopment of the former Town Center Mall, now renamed La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth. During the course of this project, he was credited with leading a leasing team which turned around the once-abandoned indoor mall. A son to Mexican immigrants, Mr. Araiza has demonstrated a commitment to the Hispanic market through his past and current activities. He worked as an intern for the Mexican Embassy’s NAFTA office in Washington, D.C., and served as the founder of an alumnus-based development fundraising group for his elementary school alma mater in West Dallas, St. Mary of Carmel.
