Derek Ferem is the Dallas City Partner for Vista Property Company, with responsibility for generating new investment opportunities and implementing the business plan for each new shopping center investment.

Upon graduation from Texas A&M in 1993, Derek joined Hopkins Commercial as a leasing associate. In 2003, Derek moved to Direct Development to oversee leasing of its developments. Mr. Ferem was in charge of all aspects of the leasing process ranging from prospecting for tenants and managing third party brokerage relationships, to negotiating leases and terms. Additionally, Mr. Ferem was involved in the acquisitions of new developments and implementing marketing strategies for the properties. Mr. Ferem has worked on a range of shopping center types including infill, ground-up development, re-development and re-tenanting of existing centers, and suburban power centers totaling over 3,000,000 square feet of space.
